How to make smart manufacturing truly smart?
We study on “how to make truly smart manufacturing” which harnesses our leadership in scientific research and discovery, especially in advanced digital technologies such as generative AI, to overcome the challenges in the Future Manufacturing.
Reasoning behind decision making, corresponding data analytics, understanding, tradeoffs, and insights will be collected and embedded into a semantically searchable knowledge threads termed “Cyber Meister.” It will capture expert knowledge directly from industry own decision makers as well as read in past decision reasonings, in-house reports, and state-of-the-art technical papers in each field of manufacturing. Manufacturing-specific LLMs will enable the creation of integrated human-cyber-physical systems and truly smart manufacturing in each industry.
